LPT Realty for New Agents: Public Facts and Questions to Ask
Short answer. LPT Realty is a cloud style brokerage based in Lake Mary, Florida. Trade press reports it launched in 2022 and offers two pay plans, one with revenue share. Its website lists no fees, so you must ask for them in writing. This page lists public facts and questions to ask. It does not rank brokerages.
The short version
A new agent in Texas has many brokerages to compare. This page collects public facts about LPT Realty so you can compare it with any other brokerage on the same terms.
We do not give an opinion on LPT Realty. LPT Realty is a private company, so we found no annual report for it on SEC EDGAR. We use its website and one trade press report, and we label each fact with its source and check date. The Bauer Group is also a brokerage, so we compete with LPT Realty. Read with that in mind.

How this type of brokerage works
LPT Realty is usually grouped with cloud brokerages that offer a revenue share program. In this model an agent often works from home with online tools and keeps most of each commission up to a yearly cap. Features vary by company, so check each one.
In a revenue share program, an agent who brings other agents to the company may earn a share of what the company keeps from those agents' sales. The company sets the terms, so read its current written terms.
Our guide on types of brokerages and their trade-offs compares this model with others.
A note on numbers
The trade press report gives dollar amounts for each plan. We do not repeat them here. The report itself is not clear on how two of its fee figures fit together, and plan terms can change. The company is the only source that can tell you what you would pay today.
Ask for the current plan documents as a file, and keep a copy with the date.
What agents and reviewers say
Review data was limited when this page was written. We could not load a public review source that allows reading, so we are not reporting review counts, scores or quotes. We will not guess what agents think.
To hear from real agents, ask the brokerage for two or three agents in your market who joined in the last year. Ask each what surprised them. Ask the same of every brokerage you compare.
How to read a news report about a brokerage
A news article can be a good start, but it is not a contract. Use these checks before you rely on one.
- Look at the date. Pay plans change, and an article can be a year old.
- Check who gave the numbers. Did the company say them, or did the writer?
- Look for numbers that do not fit together. If two figures clash, ask the company.
- Ask for the plan documents as a file. A plan on paper beats a plan in an article.
- Check the Texas notices. The company site links two TREC notice forms, so ask which company name would appear on yours.
Questions to ask before you decide
These are our planning questions, not TREC rules. Ask every brokerage the same ones.
- What is every fee, and when is each one due? Ask for the current fee list in writing.
- Which pay plan would fit my deal count, and can I switch later?
- How is my commission paid, and how fast after closing?
- How does the revenue share program work, and do I need to take part?
- Who answers my Texas contract questions, and how quickly?
- What training is there for a new agent in the first 90 days?
- How do leads reach agents, if at all? Ask for it in writing.
- What happens to my pending deals if I leave?

Who may want to look closer, and who may want to compare more
We do not say who should join any brokerage. These are questions that help you decide for yourself.
You may want to look closer at a cloud model if you are comfortable working from home with online tools and want to know your cost per deal.
You may want to compare more if you want an office to walk into, a mentor next to you, or a local team. Ask yourself where you will get answers on a hard contract at 6 p.m. on a Friday.

Experiences vary by office and team. If you see an error, write to agents@joinbauergroup.com. We apply corrections within 2 business days.
