Working as an Agent in Carrollton, TX: Three Counties, Five School Districts
Short answer. Carrollton lies in three counties, Dallas, Denton and Collin, and its homes are served by five school districts. County and district come from the address, never from the city name. The city is established and has light rail and a commuter train, so many files turn on the age and condition of the home.

Small cities have few sales, so figures can swing a lot from month to month. Sales by builders and sales not listed in the NTREIS MLS are not counted. Treat this as background, not a price for any particular home, and check current figures before you quote them.
Three counties in one city
Carrollton had 109,576 residents in 2000, 119,097 in 2010 and 133,434 in 2020. The city lies in Dallas, Denton and Collin counties.
Each address sits on one county's tax roll. Look up the property before you say anything about taxes, and do not assume that two homes in the same neighborhood share a county.
Five school districts
Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD serves most of the city. A small part of the southeast is in Dallas ISD, the southwest is in Coppell ISD, the north is in Lewisville ISD and the Collin County portion is in Plano ISD.
Families choose homes by school. Check the district for the exact address, every time.
Rail stations and a commuter train
DART's Green Line runs through Carrollton, with stops at Trinity Mills, Downtown Carrollton and North Carrollton/Frankford. The Silver Line also stops at Downtown Carrollton, and the DCTA A-train ends at Trinity Mills.
Some clients care a great deal about rail and others never use it. Ask each client rather than assuming.
A corporate base
A 2019 list on Wikipedia names Cencora, Halliburton, Thomson Reuters, Western Extrusions and Securus Technologies among the city's employers. Employers like these bring relocation questions and renters as well as buyers.
Treat that as background. It tells you who your clients might be, not what they will do.
